Sara Bloom, Director of the Downtown Hays Development Center will be providing a tour of Downtown Hays. The tour will showcase many of our unique shopping boutiques in downtown Hays, as well as provide some historical information. The tour will end at the Golden Q, where we will be having our dinner buffet.  http://www.downtownhays.com

Take a tour of FHSU’s wind turbines. These wind turbines provide energy directly to the FHSU campus, and their combined energy output covers roughly 97% of energy consumption on campus. We'll take a bus to the wind turbine site, where you'll get to see the wind turbines up close and learn more about how they work.  Then, we'll come back to campus and take a look at the Aker's Energy Center, where you'll get to view the switch gear and learn about how the energy is monitored. 

Meet in the Sunset Lounge of the Memorial Union at 1:00 PM (by the registration table).  We'll load the buses and head out to the wind turbine site from there.
